Cruze content forever! No, I’ll never stop posting this picture.
It’s been real guys, but this isn’t a goodbye, it’s a hello!
Just want to thank you for all the good times and all the times it got real here. This is easily the best corner in the whole dang internet and it’s been a pleasure for me to be a part of it.
See ya on The Hyphen and maybe on Drive Tribe.

They looked very good in WTC spec. If mine was blue I’d be tempted to do some vinyl graphics.

Imagine if they had made a Cruze coupe.
That’s what I’m seeing here.
I feel like it would have really pulled it off well.

It’s a real shame. I think that would have had some killer proportions and if paired with a proper hot version would have really made something special. Imagine a Cruze Coupe SS!

At some p oint around 2010 GM made a decision that the SS moniker would only be given to a vehicle deserving of the title. If there was talk of an SS Cruze, it must have been significantly improved over the model.

Now that would have been a blast with a high revving V6 and some stuff suspension and big brakes. Perhaps it could have gone more of a WTC spec. Either would have been exceptional.

Since they stole the 2.0 turbo engine from the Saab 9-3 to replace the under performing supercharged 2.0 in the Cobalt SS, maybe they could have shoehorned in the 3.0 twin turbo from Saab too.

No w that would have been good. Shame they didn't actually make a hot or even warm Cruze. The RS was just an appearance package.
